Dawn Of The Tribes
Long, long ago, long before the Scorching, long before the founding of the Dragon tribes, Pyrrhia was a much different place. The land was overrun with Scavengers, and only a few Dragons lived.
After a time, only 14 Dragons remained. these fourteen dragons lived in pairs, for each pair looked the same.
One pair were big and broad and tough, and the colour of mud, the second pair were blue and agile, and they lived in the water, the third pair were able to change their bright scales, and could shoot deadly venom from their teeth, the fourth pair were black as night, the fifth were strong and noble, and had a scorpion's tail, the sixth were huge and fierce and red, and the seventh were white and lived in the cold up North.
As time went on, these couples had children. the first had Mud, the second has Sea, the third had Rain, the fourth had Night, the fifth had Sand, the sixth had Sky, and the seventh had Ice.

Glisten is the most popular RainWing in the Southern Kingdom, and this year she's going to Jade Mountain Academy.
She thinks it will be easy to keep her high status, but as a bully targets her, she starts to understand that it's not everything to be popular.

Peril's P.O.V CHAPTER ONE - WHO?
Peril shut her eyes tight as the voice counted down. The atmosphere around her was cold, and windy, and she thought she could smell snowdrifts on the wind. Of course. Did I think it would be set in the sky? Why am I disappointed? Of course it would be set in the North. The IceWings are District One, after all.
Then the gong sounded.
Peril snapped open her eyes, black pupils darting everywhere, taking in everything. White, snow, mountains, ice, hills. In a moment she had developed a plan. She was off her platform before anyone else
The bright red SkyWing took off immediately, her goal to attack from above. Once she thought she was up high enough, she stopped and scanned the area. Battles were already starting. Both the IceWings answered the two challenging MudWings. Flame battled furiously with Greatness. Qibli was flapping about Blaze and Jambu, trying to part them.
Aha. Peril's keen eyes detected the small RainWing Kinkajou before anyone else had noticed. She had chosen a pure white for her scales, no doubt to match the surroundings, (but they were flashing a sickly green, revealing her fear) and was creeping up on Marsh as the MudWings and IceWings battled.
Peril instinctively prepared to lunge at her victim, but something inside her made her hesitate. Who will I have to kill next? She took a moment to remember the VICTIM list.
Kinkajou's victim is Marsh, to that'l be no problem. And then Marsh's is Starflight, easy, and Starflight's is Greatness, no problem, and then Greatness' is... I cut myself short as I realized who I would have to kill. I bared my teeth, hooked my claws, and dived for Kinkajou. I'm coming, Flame.
Kinkajou's P.O.V CHAPTER TWO - JUST WHITE
It was cold. Colder than Kinkajou had ever been in her entire life. Kinkajou's body shivered constantly, sometimes jerking.
I'l die of the cold. Was the thought that kept circling in her mind. I'l never last.
Kinkajou barely noticed when the gong sounded. but a few second later blinked open her eyes, only to shut then again. Freezing air stung her eyes and nose, and made it almost impossible to breath. She could see nothing but white, nothing at far as her eyes could see. Just white. Just white.
Hesitantly she open her eyes again, and had to concentrate on not slamming them shut again. All around her was chaos. Dragons bleeding, fighting, snarling, shrieking.
The snowy ground was already splattered with blood as dragons tried to get to their victims.
Kinkajou looked at her sickly green scales, and decidedly turned them to white, completely blending in with her surroundings. She looked around, and spotted Marsh almost immediately.
She made her way off her platform, and started stalking the MudWing from behind. She would have to act quickly. Cattail would help him when she saw that her son was being attacked.
Go for the throat. She decided at last.
She closed the gap between her belly and the snow, ready to spring. The cold pierce made her wince. She bared her teeth, then sprang!
She never touched the ground again.
When in mid-leap, Kinkajou had been grabbed by piercing talons. Talons that burned right through her scales. She tried to aim her venom at her attacker, but couldn't get her neck around.
The burning talons suddenly raked her belly, gouging deep burn-wounds, making her shriek in pain.
Pain.
Pain seared through her body like a fire, the sting of the fire washing over her sight, until she saw nothing but white, nothing as far as the eye could see. Just white. Just white.
Just white.
Narwhal's P.O.V. CHAPTER THREE -
Fresh, freezing air blew in Narwhal's face, and he relished the burst of cold as he shuffled his talons in the freshly fallen snow. He breathed in, catching the scent of walruses and whales, sending the familiar feeling of homesickess and longing, along with despair.
Narwhal and the other tributes were standing on metal plates, that were already creeping with frost. All around them were hills of snow, and Narwhal almost expected to see Queen Glacier's palace, shimmering in the bright light.
The thought brought despair to him once more. He would never see the palace again, nor his beloved mother. Winter was going to kill him. He would try to kill Peril, fail miserably, and then Winter would find him, wounded in the snow, and kill him.
The Gong sounded,
