Tanabahi has three cubs, Kanu, Vita and, his favorite, Bahari.
Tanabahi originally wanted to rule with his first mate, Kamaria, but after some thinking, he realized he would grow old before he could fulfill his plans. So he had cubs with Kamaria, hoping that at least one of them had the potential to carry on his legacy.
The two cubs, Kanu and Vita, were not what he was hoping for. He knew that Kamaria would not be able to bare more cubs, so, sadly, he left her.
Many think that Tanabahi was cruel through and through, and that he cruelly left Kamaria, and that he never loved her or their cubs. They are wrong
Tanabahi loved Kamaria more than himself, and treasured Kanu and Vita like they were all the lions in the world. It broke his heart to leave them, and to leave Kamaria to care for his cubs.
When Kamaria's own sister, Maua, showed her affection toward him, he took his chance and took her as his mate. A few months after, Maua told him that she was expecting his cubs.
Happily, Tanabahi prepared himself for teaching his future cub to carry on the legacy his father had started.
When the cub was born, Tanabahi was overjoyed to discover that it was a strong male, whom he called Bahari, that he could easily train.
But his joy was short lived.
Bahari was strong and determind, yes, but Tanabahi soon realized that his young son would side with the Royal family, rather than him.
No knowing what else to do, he went to Kamaria and told her his plans. Although she did not agree, she forgave him and loved him once again.
It was quite a few years later when Tanabahi's ambitions returned. Bahari had announced that the lioness, Zelira, was expecting his cub.
On a roll, Tanabahi went to every friend he had in the pride, and asked them to join him.
Most of them did.
When at last Mosi was born, Tanabahi saw true potential in the young lion.
